In August a festival with various events such as concerts, dance performances and sporting activities is organized in Imerovigli. The most important happening though is the representation of the volcano eruption, where the show is unique. Fireworks and flares over the volcano are being lit to recreate a virtual explosion.

In Kamari the Kamarian sea festival is being organized.

In July the Santorini Jazz Festival with many world renowned artists takes place.

In September an International Music Festival is organized.
