Mansion Argyrou

The Mansion Argyrou (Arxontiko Argyrou) is one of the most important neoclassical buildings with elements of the traditional Thiraiki architecture.
It was built in 1860 but was damaged by the earthquake of 1956. In 1986 the family Argyrou began its restoration. Characteristic features of the architecture are vaulted ceilings, painted floors and ceiling paintings of unique beauty.
